Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved flowers and the natural environment. My passion started from an early age, with childhood summers spent helping my Grandparents in their garden, cutting sweet peas and crushing lavender pips between my fingers.

Largely self-taught, my award-winning style is natural, loose and abundant, with an emphasis on homegrown, seasonal, locally sourced, and scented flowers. I adore texture and foliage; the drama and fluidity they bring to an arrangement is sadly often over-looked.

My work isn’t influenced by the looks or trends touted by mass-market florists: if it looks good, I go with it! Having worked on over 420 weddings, I like to think I know a thing or two by now.

I find inspiration for my designs in everyday life. My mind is always buzzing with ideas; my pencil rarely stops sketching, or my scissors cutting. I’m a complete ‘flowerholic’, and enjoy every day I spend at work doing what I love. The rural setting of the Flower School and workshop offers much in the way of inspiration for my work, and the simplest of walks can trigger a catalyst of flower-bombs!
